Grilled Shrimp Tacos with Adobo, Tequila and Lime

 

Serves 4-6

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of peeled shrimp 
  • 3 limes (juice)
  • 1 teaspoon of Cooking with my Doctor Garlic Paste
  • 2 teaspoons of Cooking with my Doctor Adobo 
  • 1 teaspoon of Pónselo al Fish
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil 
  • 1/4 cup of white tequila
  • 1 avocado, diced 
  • 1 tablespoon of Cooking with my Doctor Pónselo a To' 
  • 1 finely chopped jalapeño 
  • 2 tablespoons of finely chopped cilantro
  • 6 corn tortillas 

Preparation

  1. Mix all the marinade ingredients and add to the shrimp. 
  2. Marinate for two hours. Grill for 6-8 minutes on both sides. 
  3. Remove from heat and let rest for 10 minutes. 
  4. Serve the shrimp on warm tortillas and top with avocado, tomato, scallions and chipotle mayo or sour cream.
