Churrasco Strips in Pesto Sauce

Serves 4

  • 2 pounds of beef, cut into strips
  • 2 tablespoons of Asado Cooking with my Doctor
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 red onion, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into large pieces
  • Juice of 1 lemon

For the Pesto:

  • 1 cup of cilantro leaves (can be substituted with basil)
  • 1/4 cup of toasted almond slices
  • 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 teaspoons of Sazón Cooking with my Doctor
  • 1 tablespoon of Garlic Paste Cooking with my Doctor
  • 1/4 cup of olive oil


  1. Mix the Asado with the olive oil and lemon juice.
  2. Add the beef strips and mix well.
  3. Mix the onion with the pepper and add olive oil. Marinate for 15 minutes, then cook in a pan on high heat.
  4. In a food processor, first process the almonds.
  5. Add the garlic paste, Sazón, olive oil, and finally the cilantro leaves. If the mixture is too thick, add a little cold water to adjust the consistency.
  6. Serve the beef strips with the pesto sauce.
