Turkey Sliders with Mozzarella and Avocado Mayo

Serves: 4-6 Preparation Time: 30 minutes


  • 1 pound ground turkey breast (or your preferred meat)
  • 1 tablespoon Sofrito Cooking with my Doctor
  • 2 teaspoons Adobo Cooking with my Doctor
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped scallions
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 6 tomato slices
  • 1 mashed avocado with 1 tablespoon olive oil, juice of 1 lemon, and 1 teaspoon Sazon Cooking with my Doctor
  • 1/4 cup cilantro leaves
  • 6 small hamburger buns


  • Mix the ground turkey with Sofrito, Adobo, scallions, and 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese. Form small burger patties.
  • Cook on the grill on both sides until they are well done. Add the cheese and allow it to melt.
  • Toast the buns on the grill.
  • Spread the avocado mayo on the buns and assemble the sliders with tomato slices and cilantro leaves.
