Turkey Sliders with Mozzarella and Avocado Mayo
Serves: 4-6 Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground turkey breast (or your preferred meat)
- 1 tablespoon Sofrito Cooking with my Doctor
- 2 teaspoons Adobo Cooking with my Doctor
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped scallions
- 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
- 6 tomato slices
- 1 mashed avocado with 1 tablespoon olive oil, juice of 1 lemon, and 1 teaspoon Sazon Cooking with my Doctor
- 1/4 cup cilantro leaves
- 6 small hamburger buns
Instructions
- Mix the ground turkey with Sofrito, Adobo, scallions, and 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese. Form small burger patties.
- Cook on the grill on both sides until they are well done. Add the cheese and allow it to melt.
- Toast the buns on the grill.
- Spread the avocado mayo on the buns and assemble the sliders with tomato slices and cilantro leaves.
